Coreopsis, Lance-Leaf (Potted)

Lance-leaf coreopsis brings bright, cheery color to the landscape with its large yellow flowers and slender foliage. Offered as potted stock grown in root-prune pouches, this perennial is ready for planting throughout the growing season. The root system is developed to support establishment when moved to a permanent site.

Coreopsis lanceolata is a perennial wildflower recognized for its early summer performance, typically blooming from May to June. It features unique, slender leaves and produces an abundance of flowers that serve as excellent cut stems. This species is known to self-seed and can form dense colonies over time, creating a carpet of yellow blooms in the landscape.

This plant is well-suited for drier areas, pollinator gardens, or naturalized meadows where it attracts many species of native butterflies. It prefers full sun and performs well in average to well-drained soil, often thriving even in poor soil conditions. At maturity, it reaches approximately 2 feet in height and width.
