Wild Columbine (Potted)

Wild columbine displays showy red and yellow flowers in spring, serving as a favorite nectar source for hummingbirds and long-tongued insects. Offered as potted stock grown in root-prune pouches, this native perennial establishes well across a range of site conditions. It is particularly valuable for adding color and ecological function to shady or rocky landscapes.

Aquilegia canadensis is often found naturally on shady, rocky outcroppings or woodland edges. Its bell-shaped flowers provide a vibrant red display early in the season. As a perennial that readily self-seeds, it allows the population to persist and grace the garden for seasons to come.
