Quercus palustris
This tree typically grows faster than most oak species and features beautiful fall foliage. Its adaptability makes it an excellent addition for landscaping and can also provide vital habitat and wildlife food in wetland areas. Host to numerous Lepidoptera species, especially White-M Hairstreak, Banded Hairstreak, and Gray Hairstreak.
