Cercis canadensis
Eastern Redbud is a beautiful addition to any garden or landscape, with its showy pink flowers and heart-shaped leaves. Its flower buds, flowers and young seed pods are edible and are high in Vitamin C. Eastern Redbud is an important source of nectar for early pollinators, and is a host for the Henryโs Elfin butterfly.
