Eupatorium perfoliatum
With distinctly “fused” leaves and clusters of white flowers, Boneset is a resilient and attractive addition to any garden, thriving especially in wet areas. The flowers in late summer are attractive to many pollinators including bees, wasps and butterflies. Boneset was used as a traditional medicine in treating flus, fevers, and colds. The common name may have come from a former use of the plant to help set bones. All parts of the plant have low toxicity levels and should be used with care.
