Agastache foeniculum
An upright, clump-forming perennial known for its spikes of purple flowers and anise-smelling foliage. It blooms in mid to late summer, and the smell of this plant basking in the summer sun is intoxicating. Use the leaves in tea to clear your airways and lungs, or make a syrup to create your own cough syrup. A favorite amongst many species of native pollinators.

Habitat: Moist, well-drained soils. Will tolerate drought. Full sun.
Growth: 3 ft wide, 4 ft tall at maturity.
