Heliopsis helianthoides
Oxeye Sunflower, also called False Sunflower, offers yellow blooms from early summer to the fall. A tall plant, it is a lovely addition to meadows or can serve as a backdrop in your garden beds. The long-lasting flowers offer nectar to pollinators throughout the season, and the leaves are a larval host to the Silvery Checkerspot butterfly.
