Tiarella cordifolia
Frothy, delicate flowers create the effect that gives this spring wildflower its common name. Attractive leaves form a mound and remain in good shape throughout the summer before turning red in the fall. An excellent groundcover, heart-leaf foamflower thrives in dappled shade and spreads to form colonies. It is not considered aggressive and does well in a border, along stream banks, or in a woodland garden. Reportedly rabbit and deer tolerant.
